Reunion Information
The Pogy reunion to be held in San Diego on
Sept 10 & 11, 2009.
The reunion will be held at the Handlery hotel which is right next to theTown & Country hotel ( SubVet convention host hotel).
The Handlery will block out 75 rooms for our reunion.
The current plan is to have a meet & greet function Thursday night, 9/10, and a banquet on Friday night, 9/11. The hotel will also provide a hospitality suite for both days.
The goal is to contact former sailors from the commissioning crew to the decommissioning crew.
The reason the time and place was chosen is because the annual Sub Vet convention will be held then. It should also
be noted this will be the first Sub Vet convention that will include international Vets. The are usually several thousand vets at the convention.
